Based in London and Tenerife, Time-Ware has been providing unique, fully integrated computer systems since 1987. These systems have been designed specifically for the timeshare and holiday hotel industry, based on the advice and experience of respected industry professionals, and constructed by a highly qualified and innovative team of analysts and programmers. Two systems are currently available:
Time-Ware Management, which covers all the main administrative functions of timeshare resort and holiday hotel management - from Reservations to Reception and Maintenance fee collection.
Time-Ware Sales, which has been specifically designed for timeshare sales operations. It covers everything from initial contact, through touring to pending contracts, collection and final completion.
Time-Ware systems are in use at more than 50 locations throughout Europe.
James Chubb, of Time-Ware SL in Tenerife says, "Time-Ware is not just a computer system, it is a service that incorporates administrational expertise and experience with state-of-the-art computer systems. When a developer or resort director uses Time-Ware, whether for sales or management, it is this integrated service that he is availing himself to. In addition, our systems are constantly under review, with improvements and enhancements being added all the time - all of which are available at no extra cost to our customers."
Time-Ware had hoped to be represented at the OTE conference of timeshare professionals being held in September: "unfortunately, the OTE conference is scheduled in the middle of our most busy period. Most timeshare resorts organize their maintenance fee billing in October, to be ready for the coming year, and one of the services we offer is to oversee the billing runs, which for many resorts is the single largest administrative task of the year."
Time-Ware Management is now being used to bill and collect over £17M in annual maintenance fees, in a variety of languages and currencies, and over 200,000 reservations. Time-Ware Sales has been used in the contracting and collection of over £20M of new business over the last 12 months alone.
Since the introduction of a revised version of Time-Ware Management, business has been brisk. "the timeshare industry has been going through various stages of metamorphosis over the last few years, not least by it's gradual integration with the hotel and rental sides of the tourism industry. This changing face of timeshare prompted us to start work on a new management system, that could work with both timeshare and hotels, or resorts that are a mixture of the two. I think we're on the right track, simply because of the amount of new business we have been winning recently. There are of course alternatives, but the feedback we have been getting suggests that they are both too expensive, and lack functionality and effective support in comparison with Time-Ware."

Not ones to rest on their laurels, the Time-Ware team are already working on an all new, still more powerful Time-Ware system. "The success of our current systems, and the recently increased availability and use of the internet has prompted us to design an all new Time-Ware system that will offer all the functionality of previous versions (and much more) through ordinary internet connections, or a locally managed wide-area network."
"This will be very useful to the growing number of businesses that have a geographically distributed departmental structure, and to companies that offer multi-resort club services and exchanges."
Smaller resorts and hotels will also benefit because there will be no need for lengthy installations. "It's practically a 'Plug and Play' service that we are working on, and we're quite excited about it. The centralization of our services will also mean even greater value for money to our clients."
